Full description

Berachain is an EVM-identical Layer 1 that uses Proof of Liquidity so network emissions can reward liquidity and applications as well as validators. Execution is EVM-identical; consensus uses BeaconKit with single-slot finality. Native assets include BERA for gas and staking, WBERA and sWBERA in the staking design, and BUSD as the native stablecoin. Mainnet launched on 6 February 2025. Core repositories are published by the verified GitHub organization berachain.
